Marianne M. (Maxfield) Boutwell, 50, a resident of Keene, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, in the comfort of her home with family near.

Born a daughter of Rachel R. (LaBranche) McCombs and the late Kenneth G. Maxfield on March 27, 1975, in Dover, NH. She was educated locally and graduated from Milford High School, class of 1993. She then went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in communications at Keene State College.

Marianne enjoyed her time working for PC Connection in Keene for the past 22 years. Along with working, Marianne loved being outdoors, kayaking, watching her son race and being out in the snow during the winter. She was very creative with crafting, enjoyed watching game shows and sitting down to play board games with family and friends. What she loved most in this world was spending time with her family and her beloved animals, Mia the dog and Josie the cat.

Ms. Boutwell is survived by her mother, Rachel McCombs of Milford, NH; her son, Jacob Boutwell of Keene, NH; and her partner, Bruce Thompson also of Keene. She is also survived by her sister, Aimee Maxfield of AZ; stepbrothers, Jon McCombs of NH and James McCombs of FL; her aunt Suzanne Pina and husband, Steven of Rochester, NH; aunt Joanne Corson and husband, Geoff also from Rochester; her aunt, Sue Bergeron and husband Ronald of NH along with cousins, Marc Bilodeau of NC; Stephanie Pina of VA; Michelle Monteith of NC; Christine Halloran of Epping, NH; and Kristen Lavoie. She was predeceased by her father, Kenneth G. Maxfield and stepfather, Halsey McCombs.

In keeping with Marianne’s wishes there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SHARE Outreach, 1 Columbus Ave. Milford, NH 03055. 

All services are under the care of Cheshire Family Funeral Home, Chapel and Crematories www.cheshirefamilyfh.com.
