My heart aches for my special high school friend. We were a group of three special friends. Marianne was the blond, Nancy Clair Hooper was the red head, and I was the brown haired one. I last spoke with Marianne last winter. We talked about Rodger and how special he was. She was so looking forward to painting this summer, knowing full well that cancer was eating away at her.
