Not sure what to say?

May your memories give you peace and comfort of your loved one. Words fall short of expressing my sorrow for the loss of your loved one. May GOD be with you all during this difficult time. 1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we have faith that Jesus died and rose again, so too God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in death through Jesus.

Marie was such a friendly, lovely person!! We had the pleasure of getting to know Marie through her husband, John. John and my husband, Jerry, worked together as firemen at McDonnell Douglas/Boeing many years ago. We enjoyed their company at various get togethers throughout the years. And John and Marie came to our wedding and helped celebrate our marriage 31 years ago. That was a fun day to say the least!! Back then, the firemen had a brotherhood and they were like extended family...

Marie was such a beautiful person. She sat behind me at daily mass for years and always had a kind word to say and a beautiful smile. She prayed for me and my family so many times. She has a special place in heaven waiting for her. Prayers are being sent for her and her family.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. Marie was a special lady & adored her grandson she will truly be missed.

It is comforting to know Marie is with John. Although she would often say she didn´t know why she was still here I´m glad she was able to brighten the lives of her loving friends and neighbors on on Oakleigh Woods. She will be missed. Glad your were prayers were answered Marie but I will miss that smile.

I have fond memories of Marie--and John from my 18 years as pastor of St. Joseph. Marie's smile was engaging. Her faith rock solid. She was a special part of the parish during my years. Always thoughtful.
May she rest in peace,
Fr. Tom Santen

Before the pandemic, Marie led a weekly Rosary for us at Mari de Ville and for residents of other nursing homes in the area. I couldn't ask for a better advocate in Heaven.

Marie was and is sunshine~that fast smile and genuine caring heart will be remembered by many! All the kids from Monarch Dr. have deep memories planning roller skating parties so many Sunday afternoons, horseback riding and best of all bonfires with The Top Songs of the day blasting thru the neighborhood. I know Jesus has welcomed you home and you will be missed here.
