Marilyn Jo Gould

MARILYN JO GOULD Marilyn Jo Gould passed away on November 6, 2013 at the age of 80. She was born on March 27, 1933 in Colombia, Missouri. In January of 1936, Marilyn, along with her mother, moved to Riverside, California and she graduated from Riverside Poly in June of 1951. There she met her high school sweetheart and lifelong partner, Donald Gould. Marilyn married Don on November 17, 1951 in Riverside, CA and later gave birth to three children, Bruce, Allison, and Stacey. In 1977, they moved to Los Gatos, CA for 22 years. In 1998, Don and Marilyn moved to Newport Beach and watched their family grow. Marilyn had the blessing of watching her four grandchildren, Whitney, Bryn, Matthew, and Courtney grow and start families. Marilyn spent her days reading, entertaining visitors on her porch, and counseling countless neighbors and friends with her priceless advice. She was leaned on by many and loved by all who met her. Marilyn is survived by her husband Don; her children, Bruce, Allison (Jeff), and Stacey (Larry); her grandchildren, Whitney (Chris), Bryn (Scott), Matthew (Missy), and Courtney; and her great grandchildren, Rylee, and Brady. A service is planned for 10:30 am on Tuesday, November 12 at Acheson & Graham. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
