When I got the news on that dreary day,
The love of your life Mark had gone away…

I sat in my chair and wanted to cry,
Then a thought came to mind, “it’s not really goodbye.”

My heart still ached, not knowing what to say,

I asked the Lord to heal the hurt and pain,
Give Marks family the thought, “it’s Heaven’s gain…”
