Not sure what to say?

Barb,
Jackie and I were shocked to read your letter about Mark's untimely passing. Our hearts go out to you, Lois and the family. We have many fond memories of Mark and our family get togethers. You and Mark are in our prayers. We'll be in touch. God bless.

Barb, Lynda, and Sue:
I just received word that Mark has passed away and it saddens my heart deeply. Mark and I were great friends at Peter and Paul and though we moved away after 5th grade I can still remember the great times we had discussing and arguing on whether the Cubs or the Tigers were the better team. We also had a fun rivalry with ND and UofM. Bud would always chime in calling my team the Detroit Dimwits! I can also remember watching the ND/UM game during Lynda's wedding...

We are all deeply sorry for the sudden loss of Mark and our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Lois, Aunt Barb, Linda & family and all the lives that Mark touched during his life....we know that Uncle Bud is waiting to greet him in heaven. We will be forever thankful for the time he and Lois spent with Mom & Dad in Washington before he passed and want you to know that he will never be forgotten...
All our love,
The Harshbarger Girls

Lois,

I have been thinking of you daily since hearing the news of Mark's untimely death, the work of our ultimate enemy; but praise God for Mark's victory over death as he was welcomed safe in the arms of His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Lois, I will always treasure the way God worked through you long ago when you prayed and waited for Mark to embrace His relationship with Jesus! I so admired your courage and love for Mark...and your Lord and Savior. Your cooperation and obedience...

Dear Lois and Lukie,

I have no words that could help you at this sad time. I still expect to look out the window and see Mark walking Lukie down the street! I was so happy to hear that Lukie was able to go to the hospital to be with Mark last Friday. I’m sure it was very comforting for them both to have that time together. I hope you will call us at any time you need anything! I know I can speak for all of YDCHA in saying that Mark was an exceptional person and very well loved in...

Dear Lois,

I really could not believe it at first when I saw Mark's name listed in the death notices. I am so, so sorry to hear of this sad news and will be praying for you as you go through this time of grieving. LM

Dear Lois,
I'm so sorry about Mark. He was a nice man. I was remembering when you, Mark, Luke and Max walked to the park together. Max really enjoyed Mark's company. We will miss him. Your neighbors, Stacy and Al.

Mrs. Mark Perry, Lynda Fleming and the whole Perry family, We want to extend our thoughts and prayers to you. We were classmates at Naperville Cental High School with Mark and also Mark is remembered from St. Peter and Paul School. We also want to extend a hello to Lynda and let you know we are thinking of you during this difficult time.

My twin brother Mike and I attended St. Peter & Paul for 8 years with Mark and always thought he was one of the good guys. We were probably a little jealous of someone that knew they were going to Notre Dame since 1st grade, (and actually did it). I remember reading Mark's articles in the Sun for years and really thought he had great insight and sports knowledge. He is the first of our St. Peter & Paul class that attended all 8 years together to pass away.....that I know of anyway. Sorrry his...
