I have just learned of this message site. I was a user of blue hell and a friend. I have fond memories of excursioning with him in the early 80's in his first car and the commodore computer club. Condolences, "The Beast Leader", blue hell.

It has been exactly a decade since Martin's passing.
Much loved. Much missed by all.
He will remain in our hearts forever.

Saddened to hear this. Was thinking of Martin and wanted to see what he's been up to. I had many fond memories of the BBS scene of the 80's. So long, and thanks for all the fish!

I discovered the Martin Sikes Memorial Tree yesterday while scrambling up a hill beside highway 99 in Lions Bay. Thank you Martin.

I was briefly friends with Martin Sikes back in the late 1980's and early 1990's. He was a dear and good friend to me....I actually googles his name so I could re-connect with as I missed his friendship. It was many years since we spoke. It was a upsetting shock to find out he died...I only wish I did not lose touch with him. He always made me feel special. I miss you so much Martin, the Halloween parties, your new years bashes and most of all your open ears and caring friendship you...
