We will remember Mib always and miss her greatly here at Meals on Wheels. She was a delightful person to know and we all enjoyed her so much as did our clients that she delivered meals to. Our prayers and thoughts are with her family.

What a beautiful and fitting service for Mib on Saturday. As granddaughter, Helen, led her grandmother's casket into the church, with a solemn and majestic hoisting of the processional cross, accompanied by the hymn, "Lift High the Cross," I thought, "What a perfect metaphor for Mib." What a beautifully evocative obituary! It perfectly captures the Mibster we all knew, respected and adored. She was something else. I especially remember "that look" and "that voice" she'd get when tossing off one of her droll observations. I'll miss knowing she's in this world. One of the best instructors I had at GCC, Mrs. Garrard was so instrumental in helping me reach my goals and move on to achieve my BBA. She will be truly missed. Prayers to your family, she was an awesome lady.
