Melody TAGLIAFERRI CRONIN Obituary
The family will receive friends in the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, MD 21093 on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM. A memorial service will be celebrated at The Chapel of St. Paul's School for Boys, 11152 Falls Road, Lutherville, MD 21022 on Saturday, March 2 at 10AM. At Melody's request, contributions may be directed to Melody's Fund at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 100 Painters Mill Road, Suite 800, Owings Mills, MD 21117. A guest book is available at www.lemmonfuneralhome.com.

Hi, I'm a total stranger to you all, but I went to school at NYU with Melody and just decided to look up people that I did shows with from years past. Of course, one of the first names to come to mind was Melody. Beyond being blessed with the obvious beautiful looks, she really stuck out because she was one of the most kind, honest, and caring people I have ever met. She always had a smile and a helping hand for anyone and everyone she came into contact with. I was truly saddened to learn about her passing just now, almost a year since, but I wanted to express my sincere condolences and let the families know that her memory clearly lives on. Looking through the posted photo gallery, it seems clear to me that she had a wonderful life with her family and friends- what a blessing. I feel fortunate to have simply met her and worked with her on stage. She was such a great talent. My deepest condolences and sympathies. Also, If I can locate any photos, I will pass them along.

I haven't stopped thinking about her family since I heard the news. I haven't seen Melody since she was a little girl. She was probably was of the most beautiful little girls I had ever seen. Melody and I were in the same class at RPCS together in the 80's. She had such an amazing spirit and was so talented. My thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time. I think fondly of the impact Melody had on me and my fellow RPCS classmates, and I am so glad to have had her in my life, even for such a short time.

Karen, over the years, had told me so much about her wonderful daughter Melody that I feel I had met her. So many stories. She was a talented and generous person and she pursued her dreams. I was so happy to hear of how much life had given her--a wonderful family, rewarding work. Melody was special. Please know we are thinking of Melody and her loving family.

Karen, Melody was beautiful. Melody was special. Melody was kind and sweethearted. She was a gentle soul who walked this earth to share herself and her talents with us. (I am truly amazed by all of her talents.) Remember when the kids were young and we lived next door to Bev and Denny. Trevor was about 9 years old when he said he wanted to marry Mia. But Melody said "No," she was going to marry Trevor. May your precious daughter now rest in God's glorious heaven where she will no longer be in any pain. We are praying for you and your family. I met with you and your beautiful daughter, Melody, at Bluestone to talk about her wedding cake, which I had the privilege of preparing. Her dream was to have the shaved coconut 6 or 7 tier stacked wedding cake on a cold December day and to walk down the staircase like a princess to her prince. I am so glad to have been a part of her very special day. What an enchanting young lady!!

This news saddens me deeply. I attended SPSG with Melody and although I did not know her well, I vividly remember her beautiful voice and infectious smile. She was that older girl that all the younger girls looked up to! She was such a bright star. I will keep her family and friends in my prayers now and always.

I had the pleasure of meeting Melody through the MSBA's Young Lawyers Section. Melody volunteered to help me solicit donations for our charity event, and we bonded as we walked door to door to local businesses in Fells Point. At that time, Luca was just a few months old, and Melody could not stop talking about him. Always a bright light, Melody was clearly even happier once her sweet son was in her life. I am sure that family and friends will continue to keep Melody's memory alive for Luca. Her spirit will never leave him. I wish all of Melody's family, and especially her son, much comfort during this time. You all are in my constant thoughts and prayers.

Melody was a true bright light that shone in each room she entered. People looked at her and their eyes would light up. I watched it on many occassions and I was astounded by her presence. Melody's dedication to the Maryland Young Lawyers will never be forgotten. Her dedication to the Wills for Hereos Program has touched hundrends of lives for Maryland's first responders.
