I had the pleasure to know Mel for a short time (4 years) He was always happy and a joy to be around. Mel was fun to work with and had some great stories from his visits to the casino. Every one at Krispy Kreme will miss him. Our deepest sympathy to his family.

I've already been missing Mel and Mae at Blue Chip. So many people have been asking about them. I know he has gone through a lot and yes he was always smiling and willing to dance. So glad he came to touch our hearts.

Mel will be missed. I bowled with Mel for several years. I never met a nicer person in my entire life. I have many fond memories.

I always loved to see Mel and Mae at the Elks when I sang there. They were so cute together. I am so sorry to hear he had passed.Such a great guy, he will be missed.

Hollywood was always a super nice guy. I don't think I ever saw him without a smile on his face. My sincere condolences to the family.

What a great guy, a real character, and a truly genuine and caring gentleman Melvin was! I was saddened to read that he had passed, and my condolences go out to the entire family for your loss. It is such a shame for those close to him that Our Lord felt the need to call him home so soon, but He has a far greater plan for Melvin.
