July 2, 1921 - March 24, 2017
Warner Robins, GA- Merlyn H. Whiting, 95, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 surrounded by her family. A Celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Gerald Peterman officiating.
Mrs. Whiting was born in Macon, GA to the late Arris Vernon and Lula Belle Hollomon. She was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Charlie Young. She was retired as a bookkeeper from Hutchinson Ford Tractor and was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Warner Robins. Mrs. Whiting was a member of the Genealogy Society in Warner Robins.
She was a devoted and loving mother to her daughters, Judy Whiting Johnson of Warner Robins and Cherri Whiting Peavy of Gordon, devoted grandmother to her eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
