Aunt Barbara, I am sorry about Uncle Merril's passing. But I am glad he is healed and whole in his continuing life. Work schedule wouldn't allow me to be at the funeral, but I was thinking of all of you and my prayers are with you.
Love, Bruce

Barbara and Family: I didn't know Merril, but I remember well your wedding day. Your Aunt Vada, my mom, accompanied you to the Temple on that occasion. The years that my family and I have lived "on the peripheries" have prevented a closer association with you and your family, but the ties of blood are strong, and my love and sympathy are with you. How inspiring it is to review a life like Merril's and know that the world is a better place - in so many ways - because of the life he lived and...

Hello to all the Browns. I did not know your husband, dad and grandfather, but am a cousin to his wife. He sounds like a wonderful man; my deepest sympathy to you all. From the Davis Family...

A friendly “Hello Neighbor” is the greeting I would receive each time I saw Mr. Brown. I have fond memories playing at the Brown’s house as a child, and later visiting has an adult. This was due to the warmth and kindness of Merril and Barbara that I’ll always cherish. I’ll miss you greatly Neighbor.

Uncle Merril is a kind man. He loves his wife and his children. Would do anything to help anyone.Though we will all miss him for the time being, I know he lives on and is happy. He knew that he would live on. The true outdoorsman is out and about once again and just maybe he is on a good fishing trip right now. But really, I can more see in my mind Uncle Merril working hard, preparing and building a new home for his sweetheart. Thank you Uncle Merril for all the great and fun memories, for...

i will always remember grandpa as a great man. He has told me many great stories about when he was in the army. i looked up to him a lot. he is in a better place right now. thank you for everything granpa. love your grandson

I was alway honored when Merril called me his "good buddy". Merril was a joy to be around and had a way of always making me feel good. I loved to hear his stories of WWII, hunting, the shoe store and all the fun he had with his Barbara and their friends. I know many who have more but I never met a richer man than Merril Brown.
