Read MoreMy condolences. I got to know Mike years ago when I was at C-SPAN in the 90s and we kept in touch, a relationship my late husband and I cherished. We shared an interest in news, broadcasting and of all things, Jerry Lewis. As the Executive Producer of NewsChannel 8, DC's then 24-hour cable news station, I was fortunate enough to work with Mike when we partnered to produce "The Kalb Report." Being able to team up with GWU meant a lot to the station and Mike certainly knew his way around producing, so it truly was a great fit for us all.
