Mr. Michael "Mike" Leon Rockel, born on August 16, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois, passed away at age 68 on October 1, 2018. Mike served in the Navy. Mike is survived by his sons, Michael (Erin) and Joshua; and brother, George (Dan); grandson Damian; former spouse Linda Tedesso; and many friends. He was a leader in the Boy Scouts of America, and a volunteer at VA Hospital. Those who wish may donate in Mike's name to Boy Scouts of America. The memorial service will be private.

Mike was a very special friend. He was always there when help was needed, but always wanted to work behind the scenes. We shared many Scouting experiences and a lot of laughs.
