Send FlowersMichael Lewis Snead ABINGDON, Va. Michael Lewis Snead, age 58, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 28, 2013, at his home. He was a wonderful father and enjoyed spending time with his children. He is preceded in death by his father, Lewis Cosby Snead. He is survived by his wife, Candy; children, Lewis, Bryan, and Jewel; mother, Gladys Scott Snead; two aunts, Pat Scott Moore and husband John, Luedell Scott Bailey; and three cousins, Donnie, Bryan, and Greg Bailey. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Blackwell Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Scott Spence officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Bryan Bailey, Donnie Bailey, Greg Bailey, Clarence Burke, Jerome Collins, Mike Hall, Adam Rhea, and Buddy Slagle. The family of Michael Lewis Snead is being cared for by Farris Funeral Service and Crematory, 427 East Main Street, Abingdon, VA 24210 (276-623-2700).
