Briefly worked with Michael K. Williams on a scene in Season 3 of Boardwalk Empire. Not only a great actor but a very nice person on set. I'll always remember how he stood up for an unknown background actor when a cell phone rang, which should have been silenced. With the director screaming, Michael acted like it was his fault and saved the person from serious ramifications. Simple act of extreme kindness. Rest in peace.

I sat watching The Gambler, not knowing your son. A New York kid, I grew up in the theater watching everything I could on Broadway from the time I was 8 yr old (I am now 73 yr).
As soon as I saw Michael’s acting I knew I had to read about him. I did and I was broken by the news of his passing. I just wanted you to know that even in your terrible loss, he stills makes a difference. He was a brilliant actor. Always know this.
I will carry you in my heart as time passes. If you are...
