Not sure what to say?

Mildred treated us to a fabulous dinner in Hackettstown. May of 08

I have only had the pleasure of Mildred's company three times. Twice in Alaska over dinners at our house and her daughter Mimi's and once in Hackettstown while visiting Mimi as she was in the country visiting her mom. But I feel I have known Mildren for many, many years from all the stories and memories Mimi shared about her sweet mother, and still does. I see a lot of Mildred's legacy in the life of my friend Mimi. A love for people and a love for life.

For Chas Nittoli: We were friends at the Columbus Boychoir, and I remember your mom fondly when I used to on occasion visit your home on weekends. I remember your sisters too, and remember when sadly your Dad passed away.

Your mother was a remarkable woman in her profession. All the very best through many years.

Sincerely,

Dave McKenas

I wasn't lucky enough to know Mildred personally. I know of her through her daughter Mimi, my best friend here in Baku Azerbaijan. What a very special person. I read about her life in amazement, and inspiration too. Mimi is so loved here, and we are here for her. It's hard living so far from family and friends. My deepest sympathy for such a great loss to all.

To the family of Mildred Damiano, I just heard today about your mothers passing and was so saddened by the news. I was the exercise instructor for a class that Mildred was a member of going back to the early 90's, and over the last few years we didn't talk as often as we used, but she was just on my mind as we are planning a get together of the original group. The other women will also be sorry to hear this news.

Your mother was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed by so many.

I remember Mildred as far back as the 50's. The Ricciardi Family goes back years of service from Damiano's in Newark NJ. Mildred thank you for all of your great service may you rest in peace.

I would like to extend my sincerest condolances to the family of Mildred Damiano. She was always there to help and did many times even when I owned my own funeral home many years ago. Her kindness and compassion will be sorely missed.I will remember her in my prayers.

I was very sorry to hear of Mildred's death. Not being a relative, but I knew her thru my cousins who were her cousins too. She was always a great lady, helping many people. She will be missed.

Charles, Marion, MiMi, I have such fond memories of your mom and the 3 of you. You remember Uncle Michael Vitale.... I am his daughter Elisa Vitale Lane, and I too always kept your mom's business card with me in the event that I needed someone of her kind, gentle way. She was there for my dad,,, she helped my mom through some very tough times and then she was there for us when our mom passed away too. So so many years have gone by. Michael Vitale is gone 21 years and Phyllis Vitale...
