Mildred Ann “Millie” Roseman, 92, of Rantoul passed away at 7:52 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Country Health Care, Gifford.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at the Linden Banquet Center, 224 W. Wheat Ave, Rantoul. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is handling arrangements.
A private family burial will be held in Eden Park Cemetery, Rantoul.
Millie was born June 27, 1933 in Gifford the daughter of Joseph and Helena Onnen Johnson. She married Glen “Corky” Roseman in 1952 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Gifford. He preceded her in death on August 6, 2001.
She is survived by a son, Rodney (Agnes) Roseman of Taylorsville, Kentucky; three daughters, Vicki Wilson of Rantoul, Connie Roseman of Greenbriar, Tennessee, Laura Hatfield of Gifford; daughter-in-law, Koleen Roseman of Rantoul; nine grandchildren, Rhea, Michael, Cory, Casey, Brandy, Travis, Zachary, Wyatt, Ashley; 14 great grandchildren; four sisters, Delores Ehler of Thomasboro, Lucille (Frank) Buck of Rantoul, Marjorie Eggers of Cary, North Carolina, and Carol (Ken) Carver of Crowley, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Jeffrey Roseman, brother John “Mel” Johnson and son-in-law, Robert Wilson.
Millie graduated from Rantoul Township High School in 1951. Three days after graduation she began working at the Gifford State Bank. Millie rose to the role of loan officer and executive vice president. She then went on to serve as a board member and finished her 73-year career as a Director Emeritus. Millie was owner and operator of the Linden Banquet Center since 2004.
She was a member of the American Lutheran Church, Rantoul and a 50-year member of the Illinois Women’s Bowling Association. Millie also served on the Country Health board of directors. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling.
