I will never forget as a child meeting Mac and Hazel at Daisy State Park. A storm blew in and their stuff was blowing away. They were away from camp. My mom, dad and I scurried about to gather up their belongings. Our family became friends for the lifetime, always visiting them at Daisy. They came to,our house in Houston to visit. So full of life and enjoying each other and everyone they met. So sad to read this news. Stay strong Hazel, I know you miss him dearly. Love, Debbie Elliott Jordan, Houston, TX

Morris was a wonderful person. I played guitar with him in a couple of small jam groups. Enjoyed sharing music with him and hearing some of the old tunes he loved to play. I am glad that we were able to know Morris and Hazel. They were friends with anyone they met. Morris, you will be missed.

There will be a void in our lives at Daisy, Arkansas. Many people have come and gone, but he definitely left footprints on our hearts! I love you, Morris McCormick and will always miss you.

Sad to hear of Morris' passing. He was one of my favorite Arkansas Texans. My memories of him are all good. My prayers are with Hazel and Morris Lee and the family. May God comfort you all.

Mr. McCormick will truly be missed by everyone who knew him here at Daisy. He and Hazle were as much of the community here as the full time residence, and everyone at the State Park loved and enjoyed their time they had with them. As for myself I was always treated as if I were a son and always felt that type love for Morris as well as receiving it.

Daddy Morris was a wonderful man and a great encourager to me. I enjoyed his Mother Maybelle style guitar picking and singing. He will be missed. KF

Such a kind and good man. You will be missed by many. Your nephew, Dennis Welch has always spoken of you in the highest regard. As his wife, I knew you to be always cheerful, always kind - a man that people depended on because they knew that they could. Kyla Welch
