MURIEL B. WIEDEMAN

MURIEL B. WIEDEMAN, 99, of Fort Wayne and formerly of Kendall-ville, passed away Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015 at The Towne House Retirement Center where she has resided for the last 25 years. She worked 10 years as a volunteer for the American Red Cross in service to military families in Fort Wayne and Noble County. Surviving are her son, Rick (Susan) Wiedeman of Fort Wayne; three grandsons, Brad (Jamie) Wiedeman of Winona Lake, Ind., Mark (Jessica) Wiedeman of Trout Creek, Mont., and Troy (Andrea) Countryman of Mattoon, Ill.; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman F. Wiedeman on Feb. 10, 1985; her parents, Walter and Arzona Schaefer; and her two brothers, Norman Schaefer and Wayne Schaefer. Service is 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26, 2015 at the Town House Retirement Community Chapel, 2209 St. Joe Center Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015 at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplecrest Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Kendallville, Ind.
