Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

The Peace Hospice Team wishes to express our sincere condolences to Nancy’s family and friends. We are honored that we could provide care and companionship to Nancy and her family on her final journey. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Nancy was a dear, amazing lady, filled with grace and kindness. As kids, we had the privilege of many summer visits from Aunt Nancy and Uncle George, John, Jennifer and Clay, and it was always the highlight of the year for us. I always looked up to her, and I always will. We love you and miss you.

I was one of the luckiest girls to grow up across the street from your family on Cedar Ridge Drive in Oxon Hill, MD. Also, I was lucky to be able to baby sit the three of you when you were young kids....but I was blessed to know your mother and your father. I have to say you mother is truly one of the most wonderful ladies I have ever known. Her smile, her infectious laugh and her love for her kids and the love for your dad helped to strive to be the same type of mother and wife. I named...

Nancy, Kathy Mattson, Mary Ellen Rix

We were neighbors on Glencoe Street for about 20 years before Nancy moved into Windsor. She and George were the best neighbors you could hope for. We took care of Miss Kitty and later Kolchak (cats) whenever Nancy went back 'home' to Duluth/Superior. Nancy taught me so much about flowers and gardening. I loved when she would leave my family a message on the answering machine, many times she ran out of time and called back to say just a few more things. She was always smiling and willing...

It was certainly a wonderful thing to chat on the phone with dear Aunt Nancy (her sister June was my mom) a few times not that long ago. Those conversations were a real pleasure. Nancy was always so pleasant like all the rest of her siblings, and always that broad smile with laughter joining in. April of 2016 I stayed at my Mom's house while vacationing. She and Aunt Nancy would be on the phone talking to each other pretty much every day, and they would talk for quite a while, usually an...

I got to know Nancy really well in the time that she lived at Fairfax at Windsor Park. She was very involved in many of our activities with me: daily devotional groups, seated exercises, balloon tennis, Bingo, holiday parties, and chaplain hymn sings. I would describe Nancy as very intelligent, highly reflective, and a joy to be around! Her smile and laugh was infectious, one that we should all be inspired by. I was always impressed with her wisdom and her connections she would share to...

At age 78, the beautiful Nancy Sandoz
started started lifting weights and working out. She joined a lovely group of women considerably younger and they encouraged and loved every moment of
time spent with her. She stayed and trained for over 5 years and then “retired”!
When I agreed to be her trainer I told her that we had a great connection that she had long ago forgotten. The FAMOUS Nancy Sandoz of the ARK was my daughter’s pre-school teacher and I showed her the letter my...

Nancy was my mother Miriam Storck's best friend. They lived just four houses apart on Glencoe Street Wheaton for many decades, and both attended the Glen Ellyn Covenant Church. They loved to go on outings, often into Chicago. They formed a trio with Eleanor Paulsen and celebrated each other's birthdays together for many years. One of their favorite places was Egg Harbor. Miriam preceded her friend Nancy to move to Windsor Park, then into Fairfax memory care at Windsor Park, and then to their...
