Norma Stultz Pappas

PAPPAS, Norma Stultz, 76, of Mechanicsville, departed this life on September 4, 2009. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gertrude Price Good. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Theadore M. "Johnny" Pappas; four children, James Theadore Blankenship Jr. and his wife, Phyllis, Donna Blankenship Bonner and her husband, Chuck, Gerald Kevin Blankenship and Kathy Blankenship Thomas; one stepdaughter, Theresa Pappas Ferrell and her husband, J.O. Ferrell; seven grandchildren, Sunny Thomas, Austin Thomas, Patrick Izac, Jerilyn Izac, Jonathan Ferrell, Christa Ferrell and Charles Bonner. Norma was a retired employee of the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Medical Assistance Services. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who always provided support to her family. Her love and commitment to those around her will never be forgotten. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at Bliley's - Central, 3801 Augusta Ave., and where funeral services will be held 12 noon Wednesday. Interment Westhampton Memorial Park.
