Not sure what to say?

Remembering "Onie" seems simple to me. I mention his name to my family on a regular basis, as life with him on the Fire Dept. was always a good thing. Funny as could be, making his Johnny Cash train sound, and laughing at all jokes told by his fellow firefighters was a regular deal for Onis. Good firefighter too, and one of the neatest men I ever had the pleasure of being around. He loved Rhonda and his family a bunch. RIP Onie.

I will always fondly remember "Onie". The day I reported for duty at station #9, with my new dentures, I received the normal amount of agitation from most of the crew, but not from Onis. He truly appreciated the advantages of having dentures, and advised me about how to get used to them and enjoy them to the fullest. He was a cut up with the best of them, but serious when it really counted. RIP Onis.

I'll never forget Onis, truly a friend over many years. I can still hear him doing his train sound. Continue your well deserved rest, Onis.

With deepest sympathies. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sad to hear of Onis' passing. Please know that I have been praying for you all and asking God to comfort you during this sad and difficult time. May God bless and keep you always.

Our prayers and sympathy are with the family. We are friends of Rebecca, Gerald and Tanner Woods.

Praying for Mrs. Rhonda and family. I was Blessed to meet this beautiful couple when I moved on Eden Road. They were more than just my neighbors. I will miss you Mr. Puckett but you are resting in the arms of our Savior. God Bless....R.I.H

I want to offer my condolences to the entire Puckett family in this time of sorrow. Onis has been a good friend to me for fifty years, and I will miss him always. I'll still hear him doing his Johnny Cash train sound as long as I live. Funny guy and great to be around. I feel sure that the Good Lord will help you fill your heart and mind with the good memories. RIP Onis.
