So much has happened since you left us, especially having two beautiful granddaughters, who are now 13 yrs old, and so beautiful and smart and loving girls. Oscar and I go all the way back to Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Brigade, at Kaneoho, HI. I was Chief Clerk and trained him to be the outstanding clerk he was. We saw each other briefly in Vietnam when he was a sergeant and chatted a couple of years ago on the phone. My heart has sunk a little lower in my chest, never to rise again. RIP my friend.
