Pastor Patsy J. "Pat" Jeffries

PASTOR (JEFFRIES), Patsy J. "Pat" Of Grand Blanc, age 86, died Friday, May 15, 2015 with her family by her side. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend G. Patrick England officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to Shriners Hospitals for Children or Rettsyndrome.org. Visitation 2-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Patsy was born in Piggott, Arkansas on August 6, 1928, the daughter of the late Alton and Mary (Vinyard) Jeffries and was a resident of Grand Blanc since 1962, having come from Flint. She was a member of El Said Court No. 28, L.O.S.N.A. and a member of new Piggott Chapter #623, formerly Lula Chapter O.E.S. in Piggott, Arkansas. Ms. Pastor was employed by AC Spark Plug Division for 9 years. Surviving are daughter, Linda Olivia and husband Gary Bendall of Grand Blanc; three grandchildren, Amanda Grace Bendall, Elizabeth Ann and husband Emil Joseph III, and Nathan Luke Bendall; dear friends, Kaye Bellville, Diane Hayes, William Berry and Arthur Bendall; many other friends. The family would like to thank Roberta, Paula, Lindsey, Dan, and Tess from A Plus Hospice for their exceptional care. Also, the family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Sattar, Dr. Varghese, Dr. Raj, Dr. Barkey, Dr. Desai, and Dr. Waters for the care they gave to Patsy throughout the years.
