Paula Millar Obituary
Toms River - Paula H. Millar, 87, of Toms River, NJ passed away on December 20, 2018 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Paramus before moving to Toms River in 1961. Paula worked for the Toms River Board of Education as a School Nurse at Toms River Intermediate West for 25 years. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Toms River and a former Girl Scout Leader in the 1970's.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 64 years John Millar; her loving children Barbara Wade and husband John, Karen Kirschenman and husband Karl, Debra Pavao and husband David, John Millar and wife Leila, Linda Millar, Donna Millar, Cheryl Curtis and husband Anthony, Tara Millar; her brother John Herrmann; 17 grandchildren, 2 grandchildren preceded in death; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 nephews; and her sister-in-law Tina Millar.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, Dec. 28th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 685 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Cremation will be private. It is so difficult to lose a mother and grandmother. I remember Aunt Paula as unflappable, vivacious, courageous and full of laughter. Many memories of visits, particularly this time of year. Our family grieves and celebrates with you.

I'm so happy to be part of this family and have many beautiful memories with you. You are a beautiful person and I love you. I know you are definitely in heaven because if you're not then we are all in trouble. Good genuine people like you and Jack is really hard to find and I'm so happy I got to spend many years with you guys.
You are definitely going to be missed but I know in my heart we will all be together again one day.
