Mrs. Peggy E. Williams

SYLACAUGA - Funeral service for Peggy E. Williams, 74, will be Saturday, Aug. 28, at 11:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with the Rev. Joe Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga. Mrs. Williams died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Mandy Edwards. Mrs. Williams worked at Jimmy's Shoes some 10 years. Her art work is displayed in the Comer Museum. She was also a member of the Card Club at the J. Craig Community Center. She is survived by her husband, Billy D. Williams of Sylacauga; sons, Michael Stone of Sylacauga and Donald E. Williams of Portland, Ore.; daughters, Christi W. Roe of Pleasant Grove, Ala., and Anita W. Bedford of Kennesaw, Ga.; grandsons, Stephen Handley and Matthew Handley both of Birmingham; granddaughter, Kanitha Gammel of Sylacauga; great-grandsons, Levi Blanchard and Logan Slate Blanchard both of Sylacauga. Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 27 from 5 until 8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Robert Grice, Bobby Gaston, Jimmy Banister, Stephen Handley, Neal Roe and Rusty Gammel.
