Dear Farida,
Was looking through my memory book and found correspondence from Pentti -- words about his work and his family. Such warm expression, like he was here with me. So I "googled" him and found this notice. Such a shock, such a loss.
My sincerest sympathies.-

Hello Farida. I am so sorry for your loss. I was Pentti's secretary at U of A and he was the sweetest man. I loved that he translated Finnish poems into English and in fact he presented me with one of his works. Such a loss. <3

Dear Farida and family,

I was shocked to read in Monday' s paper of Pentti's death. Gerry so much enjoyed their work together in Physiology & Biophysics at Dalhousie. Strangely enough they were only a few weeks apart in age and Gerry died one day before Pentti. And only recently he was discussing Pentti's many contributions to Cardiology.
