My deepest sympathy to the family of Dr. Peter Berkman. Thank you Dr. Berkman for educational journey of medicine. May you be comforted in knowing that our Heavenly Father cares for you. He will give you strength and courage to cope with your grief.

I always found Peter to be a warm and caring person. He was a wonderful contributor to the class with insightful comments. I will miss him. Sending condolences to his family. May his memory be a blessing.

It was a joy to be in Osher literature classes with Peter. His exuberantly stated and often contrarian views enlivened our discussions and prompted us to look afresh at our own opinions. Beneath Peter's bracingly forthright demeanor was a genuine sweetness. Heartfelt condolences to his family, and may his memory be a blessing.

Peter was an inspiration to all! Having experienced his friendship at Osher leaves a positive indelible mark. I am thankful to have had the privilege of knowing Peter!

I'm so sorry to learn of Peter's passing. I knew him for about a decade, in classes at JHU's Osher Program for continuing ed for seniors, where his passion for learning and literature and friendship were always present.
