Not sure what to say?

Mr. Julicher was my 7th grade history teacher at Swarthmore Jr/Sr high school. He was a great teacher who was passionate about history. He would occasionally sing an aria excerpt in class, and took the class to see Carmen at the Academy of Music. He initiated a lifelong love of opera in me.

I believe Pete was the backup quarterback at Lower Merion High School during the 1963-64 football season. He was small, even for a QB, but he had heart. We got along well. I covered LM football for the Main Line Times newspaper that year, along with Dick Conway. Pete was a great guy!

I ran track with Peter at Lower Merion High School. He was always faster. He introduced me to opera in New York City many decades ago. I enjoyed reading his book on the czars. I am deeply saddened to hear he died.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. My deepest sympathy and condolences to the family during this time of grief. 1 Corinthians 15:26.

Sorry for your loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn" strengthen your family during this difficult time (Isaiah 61:1,2)

It was such a pleasure to talk with him! Besides, his sense of humor was great and charming, thus I remember one of Halloween , when Peter and Olga invited our "new american " that time family to go for trick or treat with them in...

I met Peter about more than twenty years ago and was very impressed by not only how he spoke Russian - fluently and without mistakes -I was impressed by his knowledge of Russian history and literature even including proverbs and idioms!
I remember how friendly, kind and communicative he was. Besides he has a charming sense of humor .
Thus I never would forget one of the...

Peter Julicher was a first-class teacher and writer and a truly fine person. My husband and I have always appreciated Peter's excellence as a teacher and his kindness to our sons when they were students at Cranbrook. I will always remember the wonderful conversations Peter and I had while my sons were Cranbrook students and also after they had graduated.
