Every year it's just hard to fathom that Pete isn't here anymore.

Eight years ago. Hard to fathom.

Earth Day, April 22, is coming soon. Same day that Pete left us. Hard to believe he is gone.

It's hard to believe that Pete left us six years ago. He left a legacy of memories for many.

Remembering Peter on the Easter morning. RIP dear friend.

First Grade Class Photo

This is a photo of our first grade class, slightly cropped for posting. Peter is in the 2nd row, and I'm top right. I remember him even from then.

'Pistol' Pete Silva was my high school baseball coach and gym teacher. He was a great guy and I learned alot about sports and sportsmanship from him. I was saddened to hear of his passing. He will be missed greatly. His teaching legacy will live on in his absence for many years to come. RIP Pete.

When one of our family members passes away, a part of our heart does as well.
There are many things I (Robin) will miss about Peter:His quick wit, his sense of humor-especially when he and I would play card games! If I won, he'd say one of 2 things; That he let me win this one, or that I cheated when he wasn't looking and how he would gloat when he won ;-D ; His laugh and the look on his face that went with it. His seemingly endless...
