Not sure what to say?

Hard to believe it's been seven years. Miss our conversations. Hope you're doing well in Heaven!

I am so fortunate to have known Peter almost my whole life, from childhood days in Madison Park through the Orcas years and beyond. Up here on the island, we remember "Uncle Funny" who lit up so many aspects of our community. Indeed, his fullness of life and great joy was contagious. Much love and condolences to Marilyn and all the family. With sadness at Peter's passing, but gratitude for all the memories, Marcia Miller Spees

Grandpa Huge! Nobody can hold down the end of a table like you could. And nobody can mine old memories for storytelling gold like you could. You were loved, you were admired, and you are missed.

Dad's advice and guidance over the years was always appreciated and would usually end with.. "Hey, it's the right thing to do".
Today I found myself instinctively thinking "What would Dad say?" Then I smiled...
Thanks again Dad...Love You...Mike

I will greatly miss our almost daily 5:30 cocktail hour phone conversations during my commute. Your shoes will never be filled but thank-you for leaving us with so many fabulous memories. Love you Dad. Steve

I will miss you Peter ~ you were a wonderful father-in-law ~ I've been thinking about you a lot ~ especially these past few days ~ you suffered some great losses ~ yet you still saw life as good ~ you endured physical pain for many years ~ yet you still persevered ~ thank you for welcoming me in to your family ~ I will always remember and love you. Love, Carol

With heartfelt condolences to my new friend ~ Marylyn, and her family.

Marylyn, Sue et al: Although I only met Peter once, our phone conversations when trying to reach Marylyn were always welcomed and enjoyable. He was a love. Now, what are we going to do with the extra cookies from the Club! You all were fortunate to have had Peter for a spouse, father and friend.

My mother, Gretchen Bechtol, had fond memories of Peter at Sandy Point on Whidbey Island during summers.
