When he corrected his students, he would ALWAYS say "Mr Blocker loves you". My condolences to the family. He was a positive role model. RIP Mr Blocker from Central High School Class of 1998.

Memories which warmed the heart came from Phil Blocker. The smile he gave at a glance, his laughter which had so much rhythm, a beautiful voice to be heard without effort, a gentleman who loved his job and coworkers. I was a student of Mr.Blocker from Central-Hayneville High and he´d sing to us every morning! "Good morning to you! I love you I do! Good Morning To Yooouuu! I Looove You, I Do! Mr Blocker Loves You Now" Always a joy to hear first thing in the morning of home room! He genuinely cared about his students! Rest Well Mr.Blocker!
