Not sure what to say?

I can say I had some of the best times of my early life at the shoppe. She will be missed by many many people..PHILLY rode her own horse thru life with great pride and zest..My prayers go with you.John Ackerson

Mary Ann, I just found out about Aunt Phil and will miss her dearly. I always made a point to stop by when in New York, to visit her. I will always treasure the memories of all of us in the "Big House".

Mary Ann & family,
Our sincerest condolences to you and your family. Although I have never been to the "big house," I feel I know it well with the many memories Nana shared while at your beach house; as well as the ones I have heard from you. What a special place it must have been! I will alway remember her commentary on my hair everytime I saw her, how lovely she always looked with the perfect hair and jewelry, cocktails on the deck and our scrabble games together. I never saw anyone...

Oh! so many memories of Aunt Tiddy, I worked in her beauty parlor many moons ago, She was so much fun to be with. I still think of her when ever I pass the Beauty Parlor in sloatsburgh. So sorry for your loss. Lynne (Marchica) Ruback

Wow, I remember Philly so well...First beauty shop I ever was in. AS a 6 year old, I spent hours in her shop while waiting for my mother to have her hair done. I also remember visiting Philly when Jens and I were playing on various high school sports teams. Philly was a wonderful lady with a ready smile for everyone.

Dear Mary Ann,
It is one of the delights of my life that I had the chance to become acquainted with Philly. I admired her spirit and enjoyed her sense of humor. Ray and I can picture her on the deck at cocktail time --- a memory that brings a smile.

Philly was a special lady..Always enjoyed celebrating her birthday with Renate...with a scotch and a cigarette..I don't think she ever forgave me for quitting! Rest in peace!

Annie, Chip and Family,

We want to be with you so much but unfortunatley will not be able to make it. We truly loved Aunt Tiddy and she has given us all such great memories as the matriarch of the D'Avanzo clan. In some special way it's bringing me peace to know that she's with my dad and they are together in a better place once again.
Love Beth, Neil, Nicholas & Laura

Philly was a wonderful woman, who will be greatly missed. Her peppy, independent nature will be terribly missed, and always remembered by the Brightview family. Sincerely,Rachael Wittman
