Not sure what to say?

Nothing's worst then being stuck in Tampa after finding out the news of you girlfriend passing. I tried every possible way to come home to be with friends and family to give support and to let everyone know how much I loved her! Now I sit here with tears of sadness streaming down my face because I've always known deep down in my heart how strong and brave Rachael has always been and I can't wait for the day that I see her again! Good bye my friend- I will never forget you! Your smile was...

As I pass your house each day-I just want you to know I am here for anything you might want or need-the envelope of her tired body is gone -her spirit and soul live forever-keep om dancin forever for her brooke-Much much love

I would just like to express my sympathy for the loss of Rachael. I have many memories of her and her family growing up. I have you all in my thoughts and prayers during this time of sorrow.

I am currently in Italy at Aviano Air Force Base with the National Guard from Minnesota on a security mission.

Just please know that your family is in my prayers.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family at this difficult time.

I was sorry to learn of your family's loss. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Darcy, I am so sad to hear about your loss. You two were always a very loving couple. Remember that you will always have your memories of Rachel. Make sure the kids hear those memories frequently. Tell them about all the happy times you had as a family. They will never forget her either.

Growing up in a small town such as Winthrop affords one many opportunites in life, not the least of which is the ability to personally know each and every one of your fellow classmates. I have so many fond memories of Rachael from that 13 years spent together -- it seems like it was just yesterday! It just isn't fair for such a small and tight-knit class as ours was to lose a member so early. My deepest sympathies go out to her family.

God Bless you and your family during this very difficult time. Rachael was an inspiration to many without even trying and has accomplished more to be proud of in such a very short time than most in a very long time. God Bless You and be with you as you continue on knowing that Rachael will always be with you and many in your hearts and memories. Take Care!

Rachael has been an inspiration to us as we have watched her through the years at Rahn Elementary and Metcalf Jr High. Through the ups and downs of her own illness she was still there at the school functions, soccer games, band concerts, conferences, etc. with a beautiful smile on her face. Her dedication to her husband and family was evident in her loving actions. You are all in our prayers. May the deep love she had for you help sustain you through the pain of losing her.
