JACKSON'S BURKS-WALKER-TIPPIT Obituary

Graveside services for Rebecca Jane Brewster Waldrop, 65 of Coupland, TX., formerly of Tyler, TX., are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2018 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tyler.  Pastor Ty Shafer will be officiating under the direction of Jackson's Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home. Becky met her Lord and Savior Wednesday, February 7, 2018 in Coupland.  She was born May 4, 1952 in Tyler to Franklin and Opal Brewster.

Becky was a retired registered nurse who attended the Caldwell County Cowboy Church. What defined Becky was her love for her God, girls, grandchildren, horses, and Green Bay Packers. She is a former barrel racer and jockey, a devoted Brett Favre fan, an indescribably amazing mother, and the most caring Memaw a grandchild could be blessed with. She will be extremely missed but heaven gained an amazing angel.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Brewster. Becky is survived by her loving family, her twin daughters and their husbands, Amanda and Robert Haedge and Jennifer and Nick Arnold; a brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Patricia Brewster; three grandchildren, Easton, Chadden and Casen Arnold; by a niece and nephew, Roxanne Jones and Matt Brewster, and a great-niece and a great-nephew.  Rebecca is now in the presence of Heaven, rocking her three precious Haedge grandbabies.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Caldwell County Cowboy Church’s building fund. P.O. Box 1357 Lockhart, TX 78644

Not sure what to say?

Amanda and Jennifer,

As many others are, I'm saddened to hear about Becky's passing. I worked with your sweet mom back in the early 80's in the Recovery Room at ETMC. We were both young RNs with big Texas hair :) We had fun together, and she taught me so much, always with patience and a smile. She loved her horses, country music, and driving trucks ! She left an imprint on my heart, not only as an RN, but also as a person....caring, compassionate, humorous, and fun loving. I...

I have such good memories of you girls, your mom, and Katie and me! We are blessed that we knew her. May God bless you and comfort you. Love you!

Amanda and family,
I am so sorry to hear about your Mom--that is a hole in your heart that is never filled, but memories keep them alive. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. God's comfort be with you all till you meet again.

Hope all is going well for you. Miss you. Keep in touch at [email protected] or phone 903-510-2252. You are welcome to come by and see the changes at TJC. God be with you all.

My Heart goes out to Beckys Family. She was so sweet n most kindhearted woman. Heaven gained another Angel RIP.

Becky was a great friend and coworker. We had many a good time heading to Shreveport for a weekend. She truly will be missed. May the good Lord wrap his arms around you girls and your families during this difficult time. Heaven gained another angel.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time. God bless.

Amanda my heart hurts for you and your family. We won't be able to attend the funeral for personal reasons but Bob and I will be wearing our Green Bay Packers Jerseys in honor of your mom. I will keep y'all in my prayers.

Love
Kittra & Bob Marino

I am so sad as I lost a very good friend. Becky and I were gambling buddies. We both were two peas in a pod, we stayed up late when gambling. Becky and I became close friends fast. We talked, laughed a lot and had a great time together. I will miss her dearly. She will be forever missed at all our family gatherings. Love You.
