Was so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. During the years I knew in on the Wichita Police Department I always found him to be friendly, fair, humble [in a fun way] and dignified in his duties. His "Sports writing" days never waned and he seemed to keep that competitive spirt going all the time I knew him. He will be greatly missed!!

I know I am just one of many who will miss Dick and what he brought to all of us. His quick smile, his thoughtful nature, his love for his family...all of these things are part of a huge legacy he leaves behind. Please know that thoughts and prayers are with Dee and family in this difficult time.

For the past year or so that he wasn't coming regularly to the Y, he has been missed. Now with his passing, his "chair" will be a place of honor. I don't know Dick's family personally, other than the wonderful things he would say about them, but I want you to know that I am keeping you in my...
