Rich was by far the best fisherman on the lake and he was also an advocate for a healthy and thriving lake. He will be missed.

Dear Susan and Richard, I was very sad to hear the news of Richards passing from mother. I will always remember how much fun he was and we will miss him. I am so glad he isn´t suffering anymore and I pray you can remember those happy times in your sadness. I will call you soon, we are having some bad weather here as you no doubt know. It is with great sadness that the world has lost such a sweet, kind and compassionate human. Dick had a smile that was infectious and a contagious laugh. Dear Pell Family, I am Sorry to hear of Richard's passing. Richard fished with my father, Leonard Kievit, when my father was alive. I knew Richard from the Antique Store and seeing him around at the thrift stores. He was always very polite and asked about my family. He was who I went to when I had a question about carnival glass.
