Not sure what to say?

I think of my high school friend Richarfd every time we drive tthrough Beverlywood. No more Beverlywood Bakery on Pico so don't get over there as often now. Our mutual friend Mike Checansky died 4 years ago and his wife Iris died last year as well. I hope the family is well. With warm regards, Ted Slackett

My dear Daddy,
I love you and I miss you every day. I wish that you were here with us, I wish that you could hold Charlie and see us together. He is so wonderful and such a sweet, kind little guy. I remember you telling me how wonderful it is to have children and that the love you feel for them can only be understood when you have children of your own. I understand now and you are right, as you were always right about everything. I hope that I can be as great a father to Charlie...

My dear Daddy. I miss you every day. Every morning when I wake up and every night when I lay down you are on my mind. It is now three years and still it feels like yesterday and it is so painful to miss you. I long for you to be here, to hug you, to hear your voice, to snuggle with you next to the heater. I long for our family time, for the fun times we had, for everything that is you. I love you, Daddy.

Love always,

Matty

I can't believe that it has been over two years since we last spoke and saw each other. I miss you so terribly, Daddy. I need you. I love you with all my heart and soul. I wish you were here. The world feels so different and strange without you.

I love you always.

Matty

With all my heart, I miss you, my Daddy. I wish you were here with us. I love you with all my heart and soul, forever and always.

To all Richard's family, colleagues and friends, UCLA Rheumatology and I personally extend sympathy for this great loss and jubilation for his life well-lived to bring us forward into better patient care and much better understanding of the causes of autoimmune diseases. He is sorely missed.
