Not sure what to say?

Rick was a salt of the earth human being. Selfless and kind and taken way too soon. My heart breaks for my best friend Michelle and her family. My heart ❤ is with you all.

Always a smile on his face, and ready for fun anytime we saw him over the years, Rick was a great guy, and leaves a vast void in the lives of all who knew and loved him. We pray for heavenly grace for his family, so they may be able to heal from this tragic loss.
Love to All,
George and Jan

We were so shocked and sorry to hear that Rick had passed. He is such a good man, good friend and neighbor. We will surely miss his smile

I just want the family to know that I have a special place in my heart for him our Fathers had similar jobs and I have known him for close to 60 years
.
There arent too many people like him he was definetly one in a million.
I will miss him very much . He did an awful lot for more people than you can count.
God bless everyone that loved him

Kathy, the " 4GALS " have my sincere condolences. I had no idea of the fight Rick was going through, knowing him, he didn't give in at all.The picture you guys chose is perfect, I saw that look many times, when we talked about a Ford for him or one of the girls. I can't say this in person as I am going through some medical issues myself right now. Please tell all the Whalens my sorrow in losing one of the best classmates anyone could ever have.

You have our deepest sympathy & prayers

Condolences to the Whalen family, Rick reached out to me in March after my wife died of breast cancer, he told me of his battle, and I wished him a speedy recovery, so sorry he didn't make it. We hadn't spoken since high school, we were not that close but we're friends. Again my deepest sympathy.

Dear KATHY and family,
Please accept our sincere sympathy. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
