Robert David Barrett

Robert "David" Barrett, age 58, of Wickes, Arkansas passed away Thursday, September 26, 2013 in Wickes, Arkansas. He was born July 1, 1955 in Wickes, Arkansas to the late Robert Dee Barrett and the late Mary Will Gibson Barrett. He was united in marriage to Debi Denise Hanlon Barrett and was a logger by profession. David was an ordained minister, loved God and his family. He also loved hunting, working around the home, gardening and spending time with his family. David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all who knew and loved him. He will be dearly missed by all. He is survived by: Wife: Debi Barrett of the home Son: David Barrett and wife Carey of Chesapeake, Ohio Daughters: Alicea Diaz and husband Leo Wickes, Arkansas Chastidy Gillaspy and husband Leslie of Wickes, Arkasas Brothers: Wes Barrett of Pine Valley, California Jim Ed Barrett of San Diego, California Charles Barrett of Wickes, Arkansas Jack Barrett of Chandler, Texas Sisters: Sybil Wax of Wickes, Arkansas Nancy Ward of Wickes, Arkansas Kathy Frachiseur of Vandervoort, Arkansas Mary Beth Barrett of Mena, Arkansas Father-in-law: Leroy Sanders Brother-in-law: Lee Sanders Special friends: David Gregory and wife Tina Joe Cochren Six-Grandchildren: Hanlon Caldwell, Mya Gillaspy, Bela Diaz, Madeline Barrett, Laney Barrett, Ethan Barrett. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Barrett, brother, Bill Barrett, and mother-in-law, Alice Sanders. Memorial service will be Tuesday, October 1, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist in Wickes, Arkansas with Brother Scott Ray officiating under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
