ROBERT MALCOM JENKINS

Robert Malcolm Jenkins of Las Vegas, formally of Fresno, California, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 1, 2012, surrounded by his family, at age 78. Bob was born on December 21, 1933, in Holyoke, Massachusetts; the 2nd of four children to Edward and Mary Jenkins. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, then he had a successful career as a financial advisor in New York and Fresno. Bob loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. He was an avid reader, enjoyed watching college football, and was an inaugural Red Seat holder at Bulldog Stadium. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; and first wife, Roseanna Mary Zogbi Jenkins. He is survived by his second wife, Carol Jenkins; his son, Robert M. Jenkins II and his wife Sharon of Fresno; his daughters Jennifer Jenkins of Los Angeles and Gayle Jenkins of Fresno; grandchildren, Rachel Jenkins and Bobby Jenkins; step-daughters, Terrie Walker and Debbie Jacobson of Chicago; siblings, Dr. Charles Jenkins and his wife Diane, Gayle Rosche, Marylou Meeks and her husband Martin; brother-in-law, Joseph Zogbi and his wife Rose Marie; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Also his in-law Charles W. Kille; close friends Larry and Ranae Holody, and Bill and Carol Rittore. Visitation will be held at Boice Funeral Home, in Clovis, on Monday, September 10, 2012, from 10:00 till 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service will be held at Boice Funeral Home, 11:00 a.m..
