Not sure what to say?

Dear Norine, Margie, Bobby, Jenny, Cindy and Heather (plus all that followed): I'm just finding out about Bob's passing. Just wanted to tell you how sorry I am and how much influence he had on me as I was growing up. I always relied on him for humorous wisdom...never one without the other. He was a giant. Love, Fred Stewart

Dear Norine,
I am still in shock over Bob's passing. He was such a great guy and Richard and I so valued his friendship and humor. He was a loving neighbor on Barley Walk in Falls Church as you were. I treasure the good times we had together. He brought a special light to our lives when he visited us later in Manassas and Ann Arbor. I grieve with you dear friend and I am so glad we had a chance to get together once more in NC a few years ago. How are we going to go on without our...

As a former member of this family, I can't begin to tell you the influence Bob had on me at a time when I needed guidance and understanding. I am so sorry that I only heard of his passing today.

Norine, thanks to you and Bob for being my second set of parents for so long.

Margaret, thank you for your friendship and a flight I will never forget.

Robert, Jr., thank you for the time we spent together.

Heather, thank you for being such a bright ray of...

Cindy, not sure if you remember me from childhood and the neighborhood; but I do remember coming and spending nights at your house and the fun we had. Your parents were really neat, not like what I was used to. I just lost my Mom so I know what you must be going through. It takes time and patience when we loose a parent. I wish you lots of prayers and peace.

Norine and family, I am so very saddened by your sudden loss. You and Bob were much needed friends when we came to Winston-Salem all those many years ago not knowing a soul. Bob was quite a character and one not easily forgotten! God bless you as you learn to live your lives without him. God's Grace is sufficient.

Dear Norine and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. The time we spent as your neighbors holds so many great memories.
My thoughts are with you at this sad time.
With Love,

Will be keeping you all in our prayers. Really enjoyed talking with him at the "Corley" reunions. Cherish the memories.
Love Gary, Angie, and Dylan Corley.

Mr. Lee and granddaughter, Callie in computer lab King Elem. School King, NC

Dear Callie and family,
Cherish all the fond memories of this wonderful man who gave so much of his time to others. What an honor to have met and known him. We enjoyed the time he spent volunteering in the computer lab at King Elementary School during Callie's fourth grade year. He will most certainly be missed.

Heather, I am sorry to hear of the passing of your father. My prayers go out to you and your family through this time of grief. If you ever need anything, you know I'll be there.
