Robert E. Maccari

ROBERT E MACCARI 1931-2005 Bob died at home after a short illness surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Bob was born in San Francisco, and lived for over 30 years in San Carlos. He also lived in Bend, Oregon for 3 years so he could be closer to his grandchildren, and most recently Marin County so that he could be close to his father who passed last month. Bob was a successful Electrical Contractor in San Francisco for over 50 years. He was a Korean War veteran, and an active member of both the Elks and Squire organizations. He was exceedingly generous always offering help to anyone who was in need. He is dearly missed by his son, Christopher, daughter-in-law to be, Karen, his grandchildren, Miranda and Domenic, and his many family and friends that had the privelege to know him. He was preceeded in death by the love of his life, and wife of 45 years Lorraine, and the Angel of his heart his son, Scott Robert. Per Bob's wishes: There will be no funeral services held. However, there will be a memorial lunch held at the Iron Gate Restaurant in San Carlos on Thursday, December 8th at 12:00 p.m. If you wish to attend please R.S.V.P. to his son at 925 240 7420. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the San Mateo Special Olympics, or Serra High School's General Education Fund.
