On Monday, July 19, 2004, ROBERT FRANKLIN MAY, of Washington, DC. Beloved husband of Evelyn D. Woolston-May; devoted father of Douglas, Gregory, Theodore, Anthony and Jeffrey May, Molly Thoma and stepfather of Peter Woolston; dear brother of Margaret Mitchell. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and one great-grandson. A memorial service will be held at Bethlehem Chapel of Washington National Cathedral, on Saturday, July 31 at 2 p.m. Interment private. Memorial contributions may be made to an arts organization of your choice. Arrangements by JOSEPH GAWLER'S SONS, INC.
