I was his neighbor for almost 20 years and only in the last 10 of his life did I really get to know him. I wish I would have known him better. He lived a life that I can only dream of. The places he visited and the photos of the world and people he took were amazing. He even received Special Merit and Honor Award certificates of recognition from the Newspaper National Snapshot Awards in 1962. Just amazing.
