God Bless the family of Sister Rochelle Magee, her son Isaiah and our cousins Donna and Carl Liggins.
I've lost a number of people in my life, but I've never felt the pain of losing someone closer than Rochelle was to her sister and our cousin Donna. It's been a long day of celebrating and I'm sure the pain will slowly but not entirely go away. The singing, preaching, prayers and all the stories we heard today truly shows how blessed we were while in the presence of someone who cared so deeply and gave so much to her craft and the community. May the family find comfort in knowing that their Mother, Daughter, Sister and Friend is now at Peace. May the Grand Architect of the Universe continue to embrace us in his Loving Arms, as he does each and every day for each and everyone of us. Rest in Heaven Sister Rochelle Magee, Rest in Heaven!!! Rochelle we know you are up in Heaven singing in that Heavenly choir.....we are going to miss that voice down here but boy what an addition Heaven is getting. Donna & Crystal we know she and Annette are going to have a shouting good time, they will have the Holy Ghost Party started when we get there. We love you all and we are just a call away.

She called me Missy no one knew that! But to the family my prayers are with you. May God comfort you with peace and love of knowing that Rochelle knew God for herself. It may seem to soon but I believe she had finished her purpose and carried out the plan God had for her on earth. Now she resting in Jesus arms! Much love Vanessa.

Rochelle my dearest friend, I remember back when we worked together and all the laughs, fun times and tears from all the laughter we shared. You always knew how to make the best of every situation; those were the good ol' days. As we all grieve over your passing I know there is one thing you would want all of us to hold close to usthat Life is a gift from God. So no matter how much sorrow we have in our hearts right now you would want us to remember that our children, family, friends, neighbors, and strangers are all gifts to be cherished. Although some days may be full of suffering and sadness, each breath, heartbeat, and thought illustrates the beautiful gift of life. When a loved one is lost, try to avoid the feeling of being robbed or wronged. Keep the positive memories alive and thank God for the blessings in our past, present, and future.
This my friend I will always remember..

Let me be the first to say how sad I was when I first heard of your passing. The memories of our childhood and school days came first. The smile you always had and the joy you have brought to so many people. From Utterback Jr. High to Pueblo High School class of 1978 you will always be remembered.
