Rocky Lee Brust, age 49, of Smyrna, TN, died Saturday, December 31, 2011.
A funeral service will be held 6 p.m., Thursday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel in Smyrna. Brother Ron Caldwell will officiate. Visitation with the family will be from 3 p.m. until time of the service.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Sunday in West Branch, MI at the Seventh-Day-Adventist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Stahl Brust of Smyrna; daughter, Jessica F. Brust and son-in-law Geoffrey Lamie of Mt. Juliet, TN; mother, Elaine Stites Caverly and father, Lesley Caverly of Lupton, MI; sisters, Barbara Stites, Terry Caverly and Sandra Caverly; brothers, Wayne Brust, Dale Caverly, Dan Caverly, Tony Brust, Doug Brust and David Caverly; several aunts and uncles; blood brother, Wendell Laderoot; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Will and Lisa Stahl; sisters-in-law, Kris Kathleen Stahl Elliott and Debbie Stahl Whipp and their husbands Don Paul Elliott and Shane Whipp.
Mr. Brust was retired from the United States Air Force and was employed with Embraer Airlines as a quality control inspector. He will be truly missed by family and friends. See you when Jesus comes, please come soon Jesus!
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
