Not sure what to say?

Betty and family I was so sorry to hear of Gyps passing. Y´all were so good to me getting me to go to the Grief Share programs with you after Jimmys passing. Loved visiting with y´all at Spectrum and Gyp sharing some good ole `Central´ stories. You are such a strong woman of faith, just know many friends are praying for you and your family, Love Helen Taylor

Dearest Betty and family, I was so sad to read this today. Becky just came across this and sent it to me. I remarried in 2005 thus Stine not Greenlaw. We have wonderful memories of times together at your home, ours, or the Welches! I remember getting to know you best while on pallets one night before Knoxville as we tried to sleep at the Welch´s home. That is a fond memory. It sure leaves a big hole when we lose our mate, but gratefully we have our Lord Jesus to give us peace in the midst...

It was a fitting memorial service for a lovely man. I remember trimming a house with him in Port Allen when he began belting out an old hymn. I thought, that sounds really good. It blessed me. When he would declare in Russian that "God is great" I would respond with some non-sensical word that sort of sounded Russian. He´d get a kick out of it. We´ll miss him but look forward by God´s wonderful mercy to see him on the other side.

Sending condolences to our Olsen cousins. My momma loved your family and her talks with Gyp. Her stories and Rodlyn and Kirsten `s sharing have been my link to knowing you from afar. You are a blessed family and I know Gyp `s memories will warm your days and hearts forever. Heartfelt hugs to you Betty, and your amazing family. The Thelma Yarbrough family.

I extend my condolences to Roxanne Struppeck and extended family. So sorry for your loss. Hope you all find comfort in your many memories.

Gyp was an exemplary man in many ways. I always found him friendly and willing to offer good advice when asked. He was steadfast in his devotion to Jesus and a faithful servant of the church. With Betty, he raised an outstanding family and was a positive influence on those beyond his family. I will miss him, as will many others. Judy and I offer our sympathy to the family in this loss.

Heartfelt sympathy to Betty and family on the loss of Rodney. May the Holy Spirit bring you comfort and peace at this time.

Our memories of the times spent with the Olsen family will be cherished. The Nick Erdey family send thoughts and prayers.

I have so many great memories of time spent with Gyp. He got me involved in more than one adventure and was always ready for more. Gyp was such a wonderful Christian and good friend. I am sure he is checking out a construction job in Heaven right now. Gyp will be missed by all who knew him.
