Ronnie Hood

I was saddened when I heard about the death of Ronnie Hood. I worked with Ronnie at Smithfield. I was a sixth grade teacher. Many times when you are at a large school like Smithfield you dont often see or speak with teachers in a grade level of primary teachers. But not Ronnie. Saddened to learn of the loss of Mr. Hood. Both of my girls had Ronnie for Kindergarten and I volunteered in his classroom teaching Junior Achievement for several years. He was an amazing teacher, mentor, and loving spirit to anyone who passed through his classroom at Smithfield. He truly represented God's light here on earth. We are sorry for your loss and offer continued prayers for comfort and peace.

I offer my sincere condolences. I met Ronnie on the campus of J.C.Smith University. We were members of the Student Christian Association and participated in many events together. He was a kind person and he will be missed.
